6. Remove assembled pump and motor from reservoir (FIGS. 57-1 and 57-2). Check if

pump ﬁ lter is clogged. Clean clogged ﬁ lter and ﬂ ush contaminated ﬂ uid from reservoir.

Replace spin-on ﬁ lter in pump box.

5. Check for bent parts on the Liftgate that could interfere with normal operation.

7. If pump runs hot and extremely noisy, replace it.

in this manual with the following step.

8. Remove pressure compensation valve

(FIG. 60-1) located at the top of each

column. Check if the ﬂ ow control valves are

contaminated. Disassemble, try to move

plunger with small screwdriver, and then

clean each valve as shown in FIG. 60-1.

Reinstall or replace each valve if necessary.
